With new amendments to the Strata Property Act in British Columbia (Bill 8 – 2009) coming into effect soon, there seems to be a lack of understanding regarding the legal structure and property allocation of strata corporations.
This presentation will discuss items that are routinely relevant and required for reserve fund studies. These are as follows:
- Property allocation and legal structure of strata corporations
- New amendment to the Strata Property Act in British Columbia
- Obligations triggered by the new requirements
