About the Topic: Whole Building Air Leakage Testing – What Are We Actually Testing
The point of Whole Building Air Leakage Testing is to provide a value of air leakage for the unintended air leakage through the building envelope. Preparing the building and the mechanical systems within the building is critical to ensuring that we are only measuring the unintended leakage and not that through the intended air leakage points (Mechanical system, windows, doors, etc.) . The discussion will include a step by step process for preparing the building and some lessons learned.
