No one person is an expert in every type of building system. On September 21, 2022, the Real Estate Institute of Canada will hold a virtual conference on Building Systems. Join us for this informative and engaging session where conference participants will have an opportunity to advance their knowledge, technical competence, and asset planning skills on a range of topics related to systems, equipment, and materials included in the operation of an occupied building. This applies to all types of buildings (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial, institutional) with a slight focus on residential buildings, small and large, and of combustible and non-combustible construction.
The Building Systems Technical Conference is designed and presented by professional engineers and industry experts with significant experience in their specific areas of expertise (e.g., building envelope/structure, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, conveyance, interior construction and finishes, and site services). It is for anyone who is currently assessing and reviewing buildings or is thinking of a career in this field, such as engineers, technologists, home inspectors, architects, reserve planners, appraisers, and quantity surveyors.
This conference is a requirement for those wishing to become Certified Reserve Planners (CRP) and will count as 8 Continuing Education (CE) credits for those who wish to maintain their CRP designation. Proof of completion (certificates) will be made available to those who require them.
The conference may be eligible for continuing professional credit, registrants will need to confirm with their governing body.
