About the Topic: From Longhouse to Passivhaus
Thin walls defined the last 150 years of construction in Vancouver. This presentation will look at how forthcoming provisions in the 2014 Vancouver Building By-Law aim to bulk up wall insulation, and will present details of several Passive House projects that are leading the way. This informal chat will also include details on how the City of Vancouver is expanding the role of Certified Energy Advisors in implementing Part 9 of the city’s new bylaw.
