Recently an ad-hoc group consisting of the Provincial Government\, BC Hydro\, a selection of local governments with the assistance of the Integral Group completed some preliminary research on code compliance issues and some potential solutions. The purpose of this presentation is to review current findings with the Building Enclosure industry and collaboratively develop potential solutions. The study is based primarily on interviews with practitioners and builds on previous work which canvassed more broadly building officials and the professional associations.
