SUMMARY:Vancouver Luncheon: Introduction: On-Line Masonry Details System
DESCRIPTION:The Masonry Institute has developed a unique on-line system that provides designers with a wide range of masonry veneer design details. The presentation will provide examples of 2D drawings and 3D models. The models can be rotated and zoomed\, and viewed as construction sequence layered images. Construction examples will also be shown to illustrate the details. \nBill McEwen is a Professional Engineer\, and has served as the Executive Director of the Masonry Institute of B.C. since 1995. He chairs the CSA standard on Masonry Construction\, and is a member of the Masonry Design\, Masonry Connector and Concrete Block committees. He is the Chair of the Building Research Committee (BRC) of BCBEC\, and is a LEED AP.
