DESCRIPTION:About the Presenter:\nPierre E. Gallant\, Architect\, AIBC\, AAA\, FRAIC Morrison Hershfield Principal\, Vice-President \nPierre brings to Morrison Hershfield over 30 years of experience. He has been involved in building designs from concept to details\, through the construction process. His design work has included new commercial\, institutional and residential complexes as well as major building retrofits for the control of air and water leakage. His strengths include the technical co-ordination of the design team as well as significant understanding and experience dealing with authorities having jurisdiction. Pierre has been on the CCDC for the last 8 years. He is one of three architects on this national committee. \nAbout the topic: \nThe presentation will explain what is CCDC (Canadian Construction Document Committee)\, its mandate and its process to obtain consensus based contracts and other documents used throughout Canada.  The presentation will give an overview of all current and proposed contracts as well as their respective characteristics. \nThe presentation will discuss myths about the documents and the use of supplementary general conditions.  CCDC documents have been endorsed by the province and several municipalities. \nSeminar Presentation: \n\n\n\n\nCCDC DOCUMENTS\n\nPierre E.
