This workshop will cover new code requirements for: \n\n\nEncapsulated mass timber construction\nSecondary suites\nRoof-top enclosures and occupancies\nRecycling rooms\nCarbon monoxide levels\nBC Energy Step Code\n\n  \nPresenters\nDon Pedde is a Senior Codes Administrator with the Building and Safety Standards Branch. Don has 33 years of experience in the building industry including work as a Journeyman Carpenter\, as an Architectural Technician\, and as a Chief Building Official. He is a Minister’s Appointee to the Executive Committee of the Building Officials’ Association of BC. \n  \nJun’ichi Jensen is a Team Lead of Codes and Standards with the Province of BC’s Building and Safety Standards Branch. Jun’ichi has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry.
